Source reliability
Keep the edit safe
Broader checks for drafts, conflicting external edits, failed reloads and interrupted saves.
The last valid canvas and saved project should remain recoverable.
Visual design, source, motion and agents already share one document. Our next priority is a more dependable edit, save, review and reopen loop.
Fanta 1.0.0 is available for Apple Silicon Macs. The signed Build45 app has reviewed native editing, source and Git, and external-agent workflows.
Know which version you’re reading
The accepted installer is based on source 57d86330. Updates are manual; clean-account installation and migration from an older version still need validation.
The docs track e143440a. Later rendering, large-project and MCP improvements are source updates, with separate installed-app checks.
Implemented workflows
This is the current documented implementation. Check each guide for supported behavior and release limits.
Pages, frames, text, shapes and editable vectors, with properties beside the selection.
Components, variants, variables and modes, plus horizontal, vertical and grid auto-layout.
Readable FNX and managed JSON, validated Code edits and a synchronized canvas.
Review file changes and commit designs when a repository and Git are available.
Clips, keyframes, property animation, playback and supported prototype interactions.
Project-local pins, replies, attachments and resolution, including comments at a motion time.
An in-app Agent Panel and local MCP tools for inspecting, editing and reviewing the document.
Editable .fig migration, supported project media and PNG, JPEG, SVG or PDF export.
Current focus & planned improvements
Edit, save, review and reopen. These are the documented priorities, without promised delivery dates.
Source reliability
Broader checks for drafts, conflicting external edits, failed reloads and interrupted saves.
The last valid canvas and saved project should remain recoverable.
Large documents
Improve save cost, rendering, dragging and memory behavior on dense imported pages.
Recent source changes still need wider native-app validation.
Editing quality
Check more inspector, layer-lock, gesture and dependency combinations through Undo, Redo and reopen.
A passing example is a starting point for broader coverage.
Audio & video
Broaden playback, seeking, trimming and saved-asset checks across supported media.
Cold audio preview and wider recovery journeys remain under review.
Release quality
Tie advertised workflows to an exact package, including installation, account services and persistence.
Clean-account installation and older-version migration need further checks.
Motion expansion
Extend the existing property-animation tools toward path animation.
Path is currently marked “soon” and disabled in the animation menu. It has no published delivery date.
Longer-term directions
These directions appear in the source specifications. They are exploratory, with no announced releases or delivery dates.
Deeper image, audio and video authoring beyond the current assets and property-animation tools.
A dedicated editing experience. Preserving a 3D payload today is not a complete 3D editor.
Longer-term creative tools described in the source specifications, without an announced release.
Apple Silicon macOS is the supported alpha target. Windows, Linux, Intel builds, full Figma parity and shared cloud multiplayer are not established supported workflows. Comments stay with the local project, and app updates are manual.
Help shape what comes next
Bring a project, a repeated edit or a handoff that takes too much work. A reproducible example helps us decide what to improve.
